When I first started planning my wedding I envisioned a Venetian Carnivale theme. Budget and reality sunk in and my Wedding kind of morphed. Our colors are Black and White Damask with Deep Purple (my favorite color) and Maroon (Wil's Favorite color)  accents. Pretty much everything is DYI. All printable kits from escort cards to the invitations are from the Micheal's Brides collection. The following are some pictures I took that sum up our theme.

 

Save the Dates 

Since our friends tend to book up their calenders early we are sending Save the Dates.

 

 

Centerpieces 

For the center pieces we are using fake flowers. We are going to use Hydrangeas (purple and maroon) and lavender. The vases are glass. They are spray painted black. Thankyou to Jessi for all the help with the center pieces.

 

So I took the time and made my own bouquet. It was quite easy. The flowers are purple and maroon Peonys and white stephanotis . You can't tell but there are rhinestones in the middle of the white flowers that I glued myself.

 

The bridemaids' boquets are smaller with more leaves at the base and no white flowers.
